Posters will be presented in an assigned exhibit space.
Poster space will only be allocated to those people whose poster submissions have been accepted by the conference organizers. See the Abstract submission page.
Guidelines for preparing conference posters
A poster presentation gives participants the opportunity to present aspects of their continuing research to the conference, in an informal setting that encourages dialogue.
Guidelines
Posters should be prepared 90 cm wide and 1 metre high. Plain white panels will be supplied, together with Velcro mounting material. The conference organizers will not be responsible for printing posters, although several print shops in Cuzco are equipped to produce posters from pdf files. The conference organizers will assist participants in accessing this service.
The language of the poster should be English
The poster should be readable at a distance of at least 1 metre. Use a simple font for the poster such as Arial. A font size of 16-20 pt and above should be used.
Title. The poster should have a title which is clearly displayed and at least 24 point type size
Key words. List three key words that define the theme of the poster.
Abstract. All posters must contain an abstract of about 250 words.
Structure. A poster is more of a visual presentation than a research paper. Restrict the amount of text, but remember the text has to be comprehensible without explanation.
Other points. Place the major results, brief discussion and main conclusions in a prominent way below the Abstract.
Place the Introduction, Methods and Material and references in smaller type at the bottom of the poster.
Use no more than three simple, prominent graphics to highlight your results
Minimize the use of tables, which should be large and simple.
The posters will remain on display until the last day of the conference. At specific times, you will be required to be available at your poster. These times will be posted later.
