We normally receive students from different universities around the world that come to our facilities to conduct either a practical or a thesis work that will help them complete their studies and fulfill the requirements to obtain an academic degree. In order to make easier their work, students will participate directly of the on-going research at CIP, under the supervision of highly qualified scientists. The research work at CIP covers a wide range of disciplines that go from biotechnology and molecular biology - laboratory research - to field work.

Regarding the financial conditions, our funding policy, does not allow us to cover the travel and lodging expenses, therefore, students are encourage to come with own funds to cover their needs and bring an appropriate international health and life insurance that will support them while in Peru.

For this type of practices the students and/or institutions may approach CIP’s scientists, proposing a specific research work before beginning with the administrative processes. If this is your case, some of the following requirements would not apply anymore. Please make sure you review the list below to prevent missing information.
