New
Urban Harvest Working Paper Series
In March 2004 Urban
Harvest published the first in its series of Working
Papers on research in urban and peri-urban
agriculture:
Assessment
of urban and peri-urban agriculture research in the
Centres of the Consultative Group on International
Agricultural Research (CGIAR) in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Urban
Harvest Working Papers contain preliminary material
and results of research conducted by CGIAR and
partner institute scientists and development
specialists. These papers provide important resource
information on UPA and are disseminated to motivate
interdisciplinary discussion and comment. It is
therefore expected that most of the Working Papers
will eventually be published in revised form and
content in relevant journals, collections etc.
Together
with the launch of the Urban Harvest Working Paper
Series, Urban Harvest is also co-publishing working
papers with other partner (CGIAR) institutes. The
first in these joint/partner publications is
the CIAT Africa - Urban Harvest study:
