Urban Harvest Listserv
This
listserv or mailing-list has been set up to facilitate networking and
information sharing among partner-institutions in the theme of urban and peri-urban
agriculture (UPA) and related issues. Initiated in August 2003, the listserv now
has more than 200 participants from various research organizations, NGO's, and
academic institutes all around the world.
Through
the listserv you/your institute can get the latest news on UPA (related) conferences,
workshops, funding possibilities, and publications delivered right to your email
box ! If you are involved in UPA activities you could also share this
information with other regional and international resource persons on the list. The list can also be useful if
you are looking for information on a topic. Sending in a short note about what
you are looking for will often get a number of responses from people who know of
related work. Finally to liven
things up, we organize an e-debate at regular intervals (participants can
suggest topics for the debate). All in all you will be amazed what information
can do for your research/development initiative, at any level !

and/or a.munoz@cgiar.org with the message
SUBSCRIBE URBAN HARVEST-LISTSERV. You will then be subscribed to the list and
receive a welcome text outlining a few rules for successful participation in the
mailing-list. After this you will automatically receive all messages contributed
to the list, and be able to personally send messages to the list.
